Our History

Beginning:

Estilo Communications began in 1989 with an idea, a Rolodex and a used Macintosh Computer. The home office began serving small business within the Hispanic community. We offered them more efficient marketing strategies, and soon became the primary creators of radio spots and media productions for Spanish-language radio.

Growth

It wasn’t long before the company’s staff and needs outgrow that first home office, and Estilo Communications moved to South Austin.

From our roots in radio production and advertising, we expanded our services to include design, public relations and community outreach.

The clients also changed. Mixed with those small and start-up business, corporations like Seton, Southwestern Bell (now known as AT&T) and Dell became Estilo clientele.

With continued growth came a commitment to a particular expertise: multi-cultural marketing and outreach.

In 1996, Estilo Communications moved to Cesar Chavez street in East Austin. New professionals were hired and technology was upgraded. The company continued to grow until 2001, when Marion began closing the business to take care of her 3 young daughters.

Return

In 2005 Estilo Communications started doing business again, and in 2007 the office returned to East Austin.

Throughout the years, Estilo Communications has maintained a reputation of professionalism, creativity and leadership in the community. Despite the many changes Estilo has experienced, you will find that reputation is still well deserved.
